Questions

Questions about bedridden patient care

  • How do caretakers help prevent bedsores?

Caretakers change the patient's position every few hours, keep the skin clean and dry, keep sheets smooth, and watch for redness on the back, hips and heels. If they see a sore starting, they tell the family so you can consult the doctor.

  • Can the caretaker change diapers and urine bags?

Yes. Changing diapers, cleaning the patient, and emptying and cleaning urine bags are part of bedridden patient care.

  • Do you provide caretakers for stroke patients?

Yes. Our caretakers help stroke patients with daily personal care at home. For exercises to regain movement, you can add physiotherapy at home.

  • Can the caretaker lift and move the patient?

Yes. Caretakers help turn, sit up and move the patient carefully. If the patient is heavy or fully dependent, tell us so we can send a suitable caretaker.

  • Does a bedridden patient need a nurse?

It depends on the patient. For daily personal care, a caretaker is usually enough. If the patient needs injections, wound dressing or catheter care, choose nursing care at home. Your doctor can advise.

  • How much does a caretaker cost per day?

Charges start from about ₹1,000 per day. The final amount depends on the type of care, the hours and the location, and we confirm it before care begins.
